Spring is almost here and we hope everyone is getting excited for longer days and more fishing. We just wanted to send out an update really quick and make sure that everyone has received their perks. Hey Everyone!
By now you should have received your Teton Zooms. If you have not, please send us an email [email protected] so that we can make sure it gets delivered as soon as possible.
PRODUCTION
We obviously delivered waaaay later than expected on this project, and again we are really sorry about that. We have learned some really valuable and costly lessons.
Thanks to the Crowdfunding community for giving us constant boosts over the years, we've been fortunate to produce and sell tens of thousands of rods in the past 5 years. We have a pretty good understanding of the manufacturing process by now... but this time around, we encountered issues we never would've imagined and are extremely unlikely to happen again.
We know you expected more from us and we did to.
We're saying all this because we want to be transparent. We know how important you are to us as supporters of Tenkara Rod Co. and members of the crowdfunding community and we want to make things right. If you ever have any questions, comments, or concerns, please send an email to [email protected] and we will do everything to keep you as our top priority.
NEW PROJECT
In an effort to say sorry we also wanted to offer our newest rod to all of you at a steep discount. So the best way we could think to do this is put it on kickstarter and give you first dibs and a we're sorry price. If you want the rod you can pledge for the $1 reward manually and enter either $60 for the rod, or $80 for the rod package. Check out the rod HERE.

Hey Everyone!
In case you didn't know, the zoom rods have all shipped! We received them a couple of weeks ago and quickly shipped them out, so if you are in the US you should have received yours by now, and we are hearing of international customers starting to receive theirs as well.
If for some reason your Teton Zoom hasn't arrived then please send us an email at [email protected] so that we can look into this for you. You can also hit us up with any other questions you have. If you need instruction on setting the rod up, techniques, etc. you can check out our YouTube channel youtube.com/tenkararodco and a great place to go for fishing inspiration is our Instagram page @tenkararodco.

Hello Backers!
First of all, thank you so much for your patience. We were overly optimistic with our original shipping date, so in the future we would be wise to under promise and over deliver with our timelines. We have had a lot of unforeseen issues and delays that has been a real headache for us and for you I'm sure. But its looking like we will be ready to ship the rods mid August. We have everything prepared so that once the rods are ready we plan on spending day and night getting them all packaged and sent out as quickly as possible. If you have not filled out the survey from Backerkit we suggest you do that and also make sure your address is correct to avoid any further delays.
We were in Denver this week at Outdoor Retailer, which is a large outdoor industry tradeshow. We took a sample of the Teton Zoom to show and received great response to it (including several backers who were able to stop by and confirm that it actually exists). We are really excited to ship these out to everyone and we hope you will love them. If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at [email protected].
